About Claimaro

We're rebuilding
the infrastructure of community care.

Self-funded groups and sharing ministries cover tens of millions of people — on software that looks and feels like it was built in 2003. We're here to fix that.

The problem

Self-funded health plans and sharing ministries share the same core model: a community pools money, members submit medical needs, and the community pays. The mechanics have been proven for decades — sharing ministries trace back 35+ years to the Amish community's tradition of neighbors paying each other's medical bills.

The software supporting these organizations hasn't kept up. Most groups run on a patchwork of legacy TPAs, homegrown enrollment portals, spreadsheets, payment processors, and manual spreadsheet reconciliation. It works, barely — and it doesn't scale.

What we built

Claimaro is a single operating system for community-funded health. Enrollment, adjudication, payments, member portals, CRM, and marketing — unified in one platform, with the compliance controls modern healthcare demands. It's live today, serving real communities.

We built it for two kinds of organizations:

  • Self-funded groups — employers, associations, and collectives running their own health plans instead of paying an insurer
  • Healthcare sharing ministries — communities where members share medical bills in place of traditional insurance

Different regulatory contexts, different language, same operational needs. One platform that speaks both.

Our mission

Any group that wants to pool resources and care for their community should be able to — without hiring a 20-person ops team, without paying a legacy TPA six figures, without duct-taping tools together. The platform shouldn't be the hard part. The community is the hard part.

We want Claimaro to be the default way new ministries launch, the default way self-funded groups graduate off legacy vendors, and the infrastructure behind the next generation of community-funded healthcare.

Founders

Built by operators.

We've sat on both sides of this problem — as builders and as operators. Claimaro is what we wished existed.

Principles

How we build.

One platform, not seven

Every feature lives in Claimaro. No "integrations" to a billing vendor, no add-on for CRM, no separate portal. One system.

Ground zero to scale

The platform works for a 500-member ministry launching next month and a 50,000-member self-funded group that's been running for a decade.

Compliance by default

HIPAA, SOC 2, audit logs, RBAC, and encryption are the foundation — not an enterprise upsell.

Modern tooling, always

Built on a modern cloud-native stack and shipped weekly — you get every improvement the moment it lands.

Your data is yours

Standard-format exports any time. No vendor lock-in. We win if you stay because we're worth it.

Community first

Sharing ministries have been serving communities for 35+ years. We're not here to replace that. We're here to give it modern infrastructure.
