Only the members above the threshold get the new rate. Your first 2,500 members are always billed at $5.00, the next 7,500 at $3.25, and everyone past 10,000 at $2.00. Nothing re-prices, and the platform fee does not move. Crossing a threshold also steps up the support you get, automatically.
Setup is a flat $15,000 one-time fee covering org provisioning, plan configuration, branding, data migration, team training, and integration with your existing stack (payment processor, TPA, accounting system). That is a fraction of the $25K to $3M that legacy and mid-market TPA platforms charge. Genuinely large or complex builds, such as multi-tenant deployments, custom integrations, or a dedicated account team, are scoped and quoted separately.
Setup includes migrating member records up to 1.25 times your contracted population, which leaves room for a group that lands over its contracted count, plus your trailing 12 months of claims and accumulator history (or your current plan year). A 5,000 member program, for example, comes in with up to 6,250 member records and a full year of claims history. If you are carrying more history than that, we will quote the extra as custom scope up front rather than discover it mid-onboarding.
No. Unlike legacy TPAs, we don't charge per-claim, per-EOB, or per-835. The PMPM includes all claim processing.
Billing starts at 500 members, so the smallest monthly total is $6,000 all in. There is no separate floor per plan, because there are no plans. Many customers start at 200 to 500 members and grow into it. We'd rather onboard you early and grow together than make you wait until you hit a member count.
